Littermate Puppy Training

Question
We have 2 male parti cocker spaniels pups.  We have had them for 5 weeks now and are 12 weeks old.  They fight constantly, is it too late to try the speration technique and have successful results?  We have just started to crate them seperately during the day and will do all else seperately as of tonight.  We REALLY want this to work out!
Worried though!! Thank you Sandy

Answer
You can get these pups to get along with each other and be trained too. It can cometimes be a bit more challenging than a single pup, but not impossible.

I am boldly assuming that you have been to the veterinarian and both pups have a clean bill of health.

Check into local training centers that offer puppy classes and sign the boys up. You could also have a trainer come to your house and help get you through the initial stages of training the boys.

Here are some links to my blog and web site with some helpful training information. If you try the crate training and the leader training and are still having challenges, let me know and we'll see what should happen next.

Thanks for contacting me.

Good Luck!
