Question
Hi
I have 3 male dogs,1 a toy poodle (age 7), 2 a toy Poodle x Maltese (age 6) and 3 a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (age 4). The problem is that the 7 year old poodle has started weeing everywhere in the last 6 months. We had to kick him out of our bedroom and shut all other doors, so now he wee's on the fridge etc. My biggest concern is that he wee's on the back veranda and all terracotta plants and the BBQ. I have scrubbed the back veranda with a 50 50 mix of vinegar and water and and have also sprayed all the pots but he just goes straight over the top of this. We have had no changes in the household for 5 years when we moved. PLEASE HELP

Answer
As male dogs age they sometimes develop housebreaking issues due to urinary problems which your vet can help sort out. There may also be a pack leadership thing going on. Make sure that you maintain your pack leader status in the house. (If you need help with this, ask me again!)
Other than that, just treat him like a puppy, watch and confine. Crate him when you can't watch him, tell him no and hurry him up outside if you catch him.
