Question
i have a 10 lb schitzu and when ever we eat anything he sits and begs for the food how can i get him to stop begging , when we eat at the table hes jumping up and down next to us thanks for your help

You don't mention how old he is and if the behavior has been going on most of his life.

What I would suggest is to either crate him or "tether" him while you are eating, with the LONG-TERM GOAL being to teach him a down/stay.  Both of these are "management" tools. However, crates are beneficial during all stages of the dogs life.  Information on proper use of both can be found here:

The reason I suggest the goal being to train a down/stay is that you may sometime be places where you want your dog to lay quietly and you won't have a crate or tether available.  The following gives good examples how a trained dog can make your life easier.
