Hello, Tara. Good question!

Where are you located? Do you mean it was -11 degrees Farenheit or -11 degrees Celsius? There's a big difference! I'll need to know before I can answer your question. Get back to me as soon as you can!

Answer
Ok. That's not so bad then; still cold, but not quite as bad. -11 degrees Farenheit is the same as -24 degrees Celsius, minus the wind chill! THAT'S REALLY COLD! Your jack russell probably could do with a sweater when you take him out for a walk. The lab is probably okay, but you could get a sweater for him/her as well if you wanted to. If you do, just keep an eye on him/her to make sure he/she isn't getting too warm (excessive panting or seeming to get tired quicker than usual). As for boots, the dogs are both probably okay unless you walk in a rocky area, or through places where puddles of water are frozen, etc. The boots really wouldn't do much as far as keeping their feet warm or dry, but boots can help keep the pads from being injured.

I'm glad I'm not up there! Brrrrrrr! It's 42 F (6 C) here, but feels like 34 F (2 C) with the wind chill.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!
