Male lab mix peeing constantly

Question
Hi,
I have a 9 month old male lab/golden mix.  I got him two months ago from an animal rescue organization, which I work with.  I am not a dog trainer, but I do have a decent idea of what I'm doing.  I have a 4yo Shepherd since 8 weeks of age who never relieves herself in my home, and is very obedient.
Max seems to actually make more urine than he is taking in liquid.  I have never seen a dog urinate so much at one time.  However, he is peeing all over the place.  As if, he is walking and peeing while he goes.  He cries to go out often, and I know at his age, he should have better bladder control.  He isn't marking.  He isn't simply squatting and going.  He just walks, and pees while walking.  I have had a urine specimen checked for a bladder infection, which came up negative.  He was out this morning at 6:30, and went like crazy.  Cried to go out about 45 mains later, and went some more.  30 minutes after that, he started crying again to go out.  I don't know what to do with him, and I wonder how he'd make it if I had to leave for work at 7 am, and not return home until 5.  It is my understanding that typically, a 6 mo old pup should be able to hold it 6 hours.  I am lucky to get 45 mins out of Max.
We all love him, but I am getting quite tired of walking in urine.  He got me up at 3:30 this morning, and I'd found that he'd peed all over the bedroom.  He will remain in his crate this evening.  I do not allow him to drink constantly...the water is up off the floor.   Any advice would be appreciated.  Also, he never does number two in the house.

Answer
Lynn,
This is NOT a training problem,,,,This dog needs to be checked out for bladder problems that could range from a bladder tumor to poor muscle control...Good news....Cures for both...There are pills that will help with the muscle problem,,, and of course a tumor can be removed....The pills work great I have one of my dogs on them..The neutering process can affect the muscle control at times.. Since he is a young dog, that is probably what it is.....See a vet that knows about this  and you will solve the problem.
