Question
We have had a rescue Boston Terrier for two months. He is fixed and very lovable with my Wife and I. He loves other people and children, but gets hysterical and tries to attack other dogs. My Wife has been able to train him to sit, stay and other minor commands. we are now going to an obedience class but the aggression toward other dogs continues We drag him away and try to calm him but it continues and we afraid another dog will be injured. I have tried a water squirt bottle. Please help as we love him and do not want to send him back t a shelter. The shelter where we got him had no history on him.

Answer
I would continue the obedience lessons.  A good instructor should be able to see what the dog is doing, and give you much more specific help than anybody on the net who hasn't seen him around other dogs.  Unfortunately, many instructors aren't that good. A good obedience class or book is about you being top dog, not about rewarding standard commands with a treat.
