Jack Russells

Question
I am trying to decide between a Jack russell, Chihuahua, or Blue Heeler. I want a dog that is hyper active, and will play with me alot. It will be an inside dog and home alone from about 7:30AM to about 3:00PM, On weekdays. I have an older coonhound ouside( very nice), and a cat. I have a large yard and woods for a daily romp on its own. My cat comes inside sometimes but i want a dog that will live inside and just be hyper, but sleep on my bed with me. THANKS

I think pretty much any of those breeds would work out-all three are active

Blue Heelers CAN be destructive,so if thats the breed you chose crating it when your out would be a good idea,they can also have a tendancy to chase cats but do ok with them if raised with them-as i have known of a couple of them that do well with cats,but can also be calm inside which is a plus

Chihuahuas can be active,despite there size,and can be litter box trained,so that is a plus,also tend to be good with cats,often a small walk is good enough-they too will be happy to sleep on the bed

A Jack Russell could work as well,again do better with cats if raised with them,as they tend to view them as prey if not raised with them,they do love to run,but often can't be trusted off leash,as they tend to chase everything,will also be content to sleep on the bed

Overall I think a Chihuahua would be the best choice
