my dog wont eat

I have a year old chiwawa and recently he stopped eating I thought it was worms so I treated him but he still won't eat anything and he looks sickly any advise?

Having tried to treat your dog on your own, but not seeing any improvement, it's now time to take your dog to the vet.

If affording a veterinarian is a problem, contact your local animal shelter or Humane Association, many times they know of reduced cost vet clinics in the area. Another thing to try is to contact your regular vet, and ask if you can pay the bill off over an agreed upon period of time. Many vets are open to this, providing you discuss payment options prior to treatment.
