Question
We have a Chorkie which we have had for a year now.  In the beginning he was doing well with pottying outside or on a potty pad.  Recently he has started peeing inside and doesn't use the potty pad.  Do you have any sugeestions.  I should tell you that we have a full blooded rat terrier(male/fixed) and a rat terrier/beagle mix(female/fixed) who are also inside.  I have wondered if it would help to have him fixed which we have not done yet.

Answer
Hi Kristi - Yes, Sounds like you answered your queston for me... Yes, getting this boy neutered will sure help.  Sounds like he is marking because of his high hormone levels.
That's what you need to do.  Please call the Vet for his neuter.

Also, in the mean time, he can wear the "male wrap" - it's a belly band and a maxi pad that goes around his pee pee area.  When he lifts his leg he will get his belly wet.  Many times they stop lifting the leg if they are wetting themselves.

Good luck and thanks for the question!
