Yorkie c-section

Question
I have a Yorkie who has had a previous c-section.  She is now pregnant again.  I am wondering is it likely she will have to have another c-section or is it possible she could have natrual delivery?

Answer
Anita,

That depends on a lot of factors.  Did you mate her with a male that was smaller than her?  If so how much smaller?  The standard is to mate a 2.5 to 3 pound male with a 5 pound or larger female.  If you do that then the puppies will not be to large for her to have naturally.  Typically a female that has had a previous c-section does not have to have a c-section again unless there are problems that arise similar to the reason she had the first one.
