Question
Is it normal for yorkie/mix to become extremely aggressive if visitors come in the house?  Can this behavior be stopped?

Answer
Valencia,

It is unusual for a Yorkie to be aggressive.  They may bark at a visitor but extreme aggression would be uncharacteristic of a Yorkie personality.  There are several questions I would need answered to be able to assess what steps could be taken to stop this behavior.

You didn't say what your Yorkie was mixed with?

Is it possible that the other part of the mixture has aggressive behavior in their breed?

How old is your Yorkie?

Have you had her since she was a puppy?

Explain what she does when she is aggressive?

Has she ever bitten anyone and broken the skin?

Is she normally a very sweet loving dog?

Does the aggressive behavior show itself in other situations or is it just when you have visitors?

When she is being aggressive do you have to restrain her so she won't bite your visitor?

If you answer these questions I will have a better understanding of what you are dealing with and hopefully I can provide you with some solutions.
