lab eating sticks

Our 2yr old lab hasnt' eaten since Friday night and she's having a hard time going to the bathroom.  When she does it's diarrhea and tiny amounts.  The only think we think she may have gotten into is sticks.  Would eating sticks cause this?  She's just laying around.

It sounds like an intestinal blockage.  Yes swallowing part of a stick could cause it.  I normally caution people to be careful of the toys they let their dogs have, but it is tough to keep sticks away from a dog.

Chances are, she will be fine until tomorrow and regular vet hours.  Having it removed may be expensive, but after she recovers, she will be fine.
