Unknown Mix

I have a Labrador X and, the shelter were we adopted him from does not know what he is mixed with, he is black the end of his tail is a little white and his paws are white. And he is 6 wks old do you think you just misses his mother.

I am surprised the shelter let him go so young, most pups do better with moms/littermates until 8 weeks, but it's possible that mom and littermates were already gone since he was at a shelter.  Dogs are very resilient, and while initially they do miss the life they were accustomed too, your pup will soon learn that you are his world and be happy to be with you.
