introducing a new pup to my GSD

Question
I have an aggresive 7 month old GS male.  He is an outdoor dog and doesn't get along with most others. Three days ago I brought home a 14 week old female GS pup.  I let them smell one anothers things since bringing her home and have let them meet nose to nose through a small opening at the patio door.  Rocko, the male is acting like he wants to attack the pup.  I think that jealousy is the reason, so I've spent lots of time with him and I don't give her much attention infront of Rocko. He still is acting crazy! I want them to be outdoor companions. What can I do to get him to accept her?

Answer
Why are you allowing him to continue to be like that? Have you enrolled him in obedience class? Do you walk him? Does he get structured exercise? If this puppy is aggressive at seven months he will be a monster at two years old. You have GOT to get him under control. The beginning of that is obedience training and NOW. Start power wlaking him at heel at least twenty minutes per day. Play fetch with him three times a week until he's tired. Get him LOTS of interactive toys and change them out regularly.  You will have to get him settled and under control before introducing him to your puppy and you have to start doing the same with your girl.
Go to alpha boot camp (type it into your web browser) and follow their advice and suggestions for establishing and maintaining pack order in your home before you have a very serious situation and someone gets hurt. The dogs will suffer in the end, and so will you if you don't get this take care of. I'm so glad to see that you're asking for help! :)
