cushings in my boxer

Question
My almost 9 year old boxer has cushings. The treatment makes me nervous because it can kill the dog if you give too much. I have 3 dogs boxers, The one I speak of would have to be isolated from the rest to monitor her intake of water. This will be as hard on her as the treatment. She is borderline autistic, I'm not kidding, just ask anyone that knows her. Any suggestions. Thanks, sharon

Answer
Hi Sharon,

There are several treatments for Cushings disease and you don't say which your vet has prescribed.  Without that information, there are really no suggestions I can make.  Here are some websites, however, that you may find helpful.
