motion sickness??

Question
Can you help?
We have a 4 n a half month female bichon and have noticed for a few wks occasionally when traveling in the car any length of time she is sick,we thought it was maybe the heat but today i had the ac on and it still happened!
We are beginning to wonder if she is developing travel/motion sickness. She was a great traveler at the start and she is well used to it as we have had her in the car from the day we got her at 8 wks. She is never anxious when traveling and seems to enjoy it apart from being sick.

She has her own car harness now(which she seems happy enough wearing) and before she was in a carrier and it has happened  with both,

Will this pass or will we have to get medication?
Hope you can help
Thanks

Answer
The best way to combat this is to do little journeys of 5 mins then stop, get out of the car and walk, then do it again .
Do this daily for a week or so. ALso give her some valerian based herbal products or ginger, they all work very well. I would also use DAP in the car .
Many dogs do better in the front rather than the back, have you tried this.
Usually by 8 months the dog has resolved this problem, but only by repeat small journeys. We do this with our pups at 4 weeks and until they are 8 weeks thus reducing the problem for new parents
