Question
I adopted a dog about a yr. ago and she is house trained.  My son moved to live with me almost 2mths now it took a little bit for her to get use to him I think she is ok now, since he also gives her walks. My dog had at least maybe three accidents and then it stopped.  the accidents started again just after about three wks. she would have accidents at night and alot of times early at 5pm. I usually walk her between 6-7am and again 6-7pm and she is usually good until then, now it doesn't seem as though this is working any more for her. I also see her trembling, can you help...

Answer
hello ria
there are several issues going on here, one being tha your little one simply does notlike men and this would be from a previous encounter during her formulative years, that doesnot mean she has been abused by men just feels a little vulnerable around them. Secondly, that her age is playing some games with her by that I mean she may well be starting with the signs of canine dementia, that usually starts around 7 years of age but most owners dont realise what the signs are and most vets either misunderstand it or deem it irrelevant. Thirdly it may be that she has an underlying health issue and a full blood screen will reveal that, personally I would suggest that it the second option.
Start the little one one a diet rich in oily fish like salmon, mackeral, sardines etc.Supplement her diet with
250 mg vitamin C twice weekly
cranberry extract (tablet or gel capsule) daily
Lutein (tablet)with eyebright 6mg daily
Salmon oil and omega 3 6 9 1000mg three times weekly
Glucosamine an chondratin 500/175 mcg twice weekly
Give her foods rich in selenium and fibre

Also ensure she is stimulated mentally by using a treat ball etc

Good luck she will be a friend forever
