Question
QUESTION: hi my 12 week old bishon ozzy wont wee or poo outside i take him out every hour or so, after play, food and sleep but he just holds it in until he comes back inside. when i see that he need the toliet i take him out but doesnt do anything he just hods it in please help at the end of my tether

ANSWER: This comes down to the breeder who hasnt started trainig properly. It is easy to resolve and this is what needs to be done asap.
1) Buy a crate (Ebay is cheapest)
2) Start to crate train your puppy- instructions in one of my older answers
3) Buy some wee pads
4) Start by moving weepad to door and then place outside with the scent of your doggy on it.
5) Once doggy has pooped on it remove some poop and place on the ground for 1 day then remove, dont bleach or disinfect that area you wish pup to use.
6) Pup will then know where to go for its daily doos
7) Once routine is established remove pads and hey presto all is resolved
8) Continue to use a crate for safety of both doggy and your home.

This should be resolved with in 2 weeks.

QUESTION: hi thanks for your tips but i got a crate but all he did was cry all night for 10 days every night all night an cryed in it when i went to work, i also got the puppy pads but all he did was play with them, i would put him on it when he wee or poo an i even put some of this wee or poo on there but he would run away from it or lie on it, he never went on it to do is buisness or would look for somewhere else to do it, is there anyway i can train him instead of using the crate thanks sharon

Answer
No the best way is to crate train him,
you will need to cover 3/4 of the crate with a light sheet , this gives him privacy and security.
In the crate should be a blanket and a chew toy , no food.
Place the crate in a warm room  that si quiet and draught free.
Use a radio when you are not in view , classical music is great they love it, also do not use the crate for more than 3 hours during the day, so if you are working then you must arrange for a sitter to take the dog outside for a pee n poop. No bichon should be away from humans for more than 3-4 hours.

It is very important to get this right and now rather than try to resolve this at a later date, because I can assure you this will become a real problem.

Pups cry when away from a litter , you must be patient yet also rather hard to allow your doggy to be a doggy and learn from you.
