Question
So I have a lot of questions. I am thinking of getting a new bichon frise puppy that is 8 weeks old. The breeder says that it gets has been de-worked and is up to date with all his vaccinations. He is a male and both his parents were in good health. The breeder gives me a health lifetime gurrantee. He is registered with the ACA. O want to know if this seems like a good breeder. I am also confused about the shots and vaccinations I have to give the puppy after I get it. Also what do you think would be the general vet bill every month. I hope you can help me because I want to get a pet and make sure he is going to love his new life and stay healthy thanks.

Answer
A good breeder is one that does not breed simply because they can, they breed to better the lines, they offer a health guarantee, a temperament guarantee and mpost of all will health test their doggies, ie eyes, heart, bones etc.

Good breeders also support you whenever you need them , no matter what the problem they remain focussed on you and the doggy they bred.

Vaccination protocols are very similar for all vets and at around 8-12 weeks all pups commence primary vaccinations, these are concluded at around 16 weeks or before depnding upon time first was given, pups must not go outside on the floor before the vaccines have ended not even in your yard. They can however be taken with you in your arms to meet the world outside.
