QuestionI am in need of companionship and love dogs. I have researched for a long time now, and believe that a Bichon would be the best dog for me. However, I work 9 hour days. My tentative plan would be to keep the dog in the kitchen with pee pads. I also have 2 cats that might keep him company. I would leave the radio on for him, and am prepared to spend the evenings giving him lots of attention. I really, really want a dog, but am so scared that he will not be okay alone for 9 hours. What is your opinion? If a Bichon could not tolerate this, is there any breed that has similar positive qualities as the Bichon but wouldn't mind being home alone for that long?

Answerno way can any bichon be left for those time periods.
At this moment in time I feel it would be wrong for me to suggest having a bichon , that would include in reality Frise, Havanese, Bolognese, Lowchen Maltese and even the tsvetnaya bolonka, all need constant human companionship.
