Cats potty problem

We rescued a 2year male cat 8months ago and have had no problems until now. Recently he has begun to use the bathroom on our beds. We clean his litter box each day and he just did it again. I checked his box and it is not dirty. What could cause him to act this way?

I do have a quick question: is your kitty both urinating and defacating on your bed, or just urinating?

Have you ruled out any health problems?

Has anything AT ALL changed in the house within the past couple weeks (even a change of usual people in the household, or even moving furniture)?
