Why Me?

Question
Hi, My female cat is in heat and when in heat she always rubs up against me instead of my adult male cat. She has been with him ever since she was born but he is neutered. What I wanted to know was why does she rub up on me and not him? Is it because she knows he is neutered?, And even though he is neutered does that mean he won't try to mate with her at all? I really wish he would so I can sleep at night. Thanks

Answer
wow......the simple thing to do is have your female spayed.

she doesnt rub on the male cat because he doesnt show interest in her and he doesnt smell like a boy...(no hormone smell)

she rubs against you because you are the "top cat" in the house, you are the strongest cat in the house and she would love for her babies to take after you.

some neutered males will and can mate with a female. but they have no desire to do it so its rare.
