Newmans Own Cat food

Hello,

My name is Richard, and im always looking for the healthiest possible type of food for my cat and kittens. I stumbled across this food by Paul Newman :

His food is supposidly organic.

Here are the top  ingredients of 1 of his flavors of wet food.
Organic Chicken, Sufficient Water for Processing, Salmon, Ocean Whitefish, Brown Rice, Oat Bran, Flaxseed, Guar Gum, Dried Kelp

And for dry food:
Organic Chicken, Chicken Meal, Organic Rice, Organic Milo, Organic Barley, Organic Oats, Organic Ground Flax Seed, Fish Meal, Fish Protein Concentrate, Organic Brown Rice, Chicken Fat (Naturally Stabilized with Mixed Tocopherols, Citric Acid, and Rosemary), Organic Carrots, Organic Potatoes

I was wondering if you have ever heard of such food?  And also what would you recommend is the best food quality wise? The best of the best?

Hi, Richard.  I have heard of the food, although I haven't tried it, myself.  The ingredient list is impressive, and certainly, it outdoes most cat foods.

In my opinion, of the foods I've used, the best ones are:

Flint River Ranch
Wellness
Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul
Nutro Natural Choice

Not all are organic, but all are natural and contain no byproducts.  My cats seem to enjoy Nutro Natural best, especially the foods that come in a pouch.  It isn't as super-premium as the others (chicken meal is the first ingredient as opposed to chicken), but it's an excellent food, widely available, and a little more affordable than the others.
