help my cat is being a brat!!!

my kitten is 10months old and she has been in heat since she was 6 months old on and off but what my real question is that she has been peeing on the floor. i just want to know what could cause her to do something like that? she eats all the time, has plenty of food water and clean litter box been litter trained since i brought her home. i do work 3rd shift maybe she might be mad that i am not home enough? any help or idea would be great thanks

Normally, only male cats would spray when on heat, to leave a scent as a form of marking its territory and attract female cats.

It's not common for a litter-trained cat not to use its own litter box unless there are reasons to it.

You might want to consider if her litter box too small for her to use? Does she pee at a particular spot on the floor? Are there other cats that are sharing the same litter box as her?

You might want to consider shifting the litter box to her preferred location or retraining her to use the litter box again.

If all else doesn't work, you might want to consider bringing her to a vet as she might be suffering from some urinary tract problem.
