Siamese howling

Question
I have a young male Siamese that was fairly quiet until last week when we brought an aggressive Siamese into the house.  We got these two cats from the same people and before the boy came to live with us he was in a cage with the female.  We have since let the female outside and kept the boy inside.  Now the boy will howl when he enters the room where he is fed and his cat litter is.  This is the room that the female hid in when she was inside.  Is he sick or still looking for the mean female?

Answer
Sheri,

Siamese as a breed are very vocal about everything.  No, he is not sick, and heaven only knows why he is being so vocal.  One can speculate that he is, indeed, looking for the female, but that may not be it either.

So, I cannot begin to fathom why the Siamese has begun to vocalize like that, except that Siamese do not seem to need any reason to talk!!!!!  They just like to talk!!!!!

Best regards... Norm.
