lump on my Bengal cat

I found a lump on the inside of my cats leg what could it be?? it is the size of a nickel?? and a little red around the area?

I'm not a vet and all i can say is that it may be a bite that will go down in a few days but if it is still there after about 4 days i would say that it would be best to get it checked out by a vet, to be on the safe side.
