Trouble with pregnancy

Question
I have had my queen bred by two different proven males.  The first time by Tom1 and the second time by Tom2.  I honestly believe she was pregnant by Tom 1 for a few weeks.  She showed all the signs and didn't go into heat for about 3-4 months after when she should have had the kittens.  Not so much by Tom2.  We tried again with Tom2. I know this time she is pregnant/or was. However, she is not showing and it's my understanding that she could have only 1 or 2 kittens and not show. She is in the very beginning of her 8th week (due date in 7-9 days).  Her nipples are still rosy pink and she has cleared the area around them. Three days ago, she started acting like she's in heat and can't be still for very long. I'm just wondering what might be going on.

Answer
Carla,

Wow, I think you really need to see a vet to see if she still has anything there.  Sometimes being in season is accompanied by rosy pink nipples which protrude.  If she is really coming into heat, I doubt that she is carrying any kittens.

If there are no kittens, I would have her checked by your vet to find out why she does not take or, if she takes, she is not carrying her kittens to term.  When a cat is pregnant and, suddenly, is not, that is often because they have reabsorbed the litter.

If she does have a kitten or two inside, I hope she has an easy delivery.

Good luck and best regards... Norm.
