Question
Yesterday, my kitten, sake, was running full out around the house and ran right into my roomates leg. Which essentially took my roomate to the floor and sake kept running until he finally laid down. After a bit, we noticed that sake was favoring his hind right leg and would not put any weight on it. It does not seem to be a lower leg injury nor the hip based on the examination that sake would let me do. However when his muscle is papitated sake will growl and make a pained response. Any advice?

Answer
Erica,

I expect it is nothing serious, but if the limping and pain reaction persist for more than a couple of days, you may want to see your vet in case there is more damage than is obvious.  Cats are very, very stoical and can withstand lots of pain before showing any signs!.

Best regards... Norm.
