should I get a male or female?

I am getting a kitten but I don't know wether to get a male or female. I already have a cat at home and it's a female. I don't know wether a male or a female would get on better with my cat. Please could you tell me.

If you alter the kittens young then it makes no difference what the sex is originally. You should alter both and get whichever kitten appeals to you, independant of the sex.
Just make sure that your kittens are sweet and good tempered.
