QuestionI stopped a skinny maggot as long as mypinky nail from going back into my cats butt.He is eating and drinking,peeing is about the same yet the poop is very little.He is getting very tender in the belly area,thats how I found the maggot I was giving him his belly rub and notice a foul order that was not a poop smell,when I looked over there I saw it and grab it.there is a vet in town but we are new to this town so i don't know if he will take us they only have hours by appointment.what can i do for my cat

Then treat him again 10 days after the first dose and that will kill them off.
You should worm him once a year after that. The older animals get the less prone they are to getting roundworms.
