Question
My 3 year old male collie named Cookie is really giving me a hard time . Ive had him for 3 yeardsnow and 6 months ago I moved to a new school so I have no time AT ALL to play with him . My gardener feeds him and lets him out of his cage everyday for at least 1 hour but around 1 year ago , he started biting and becoming aggressive to new people . Now , Im starting to get scare of Cookie as he is always agitated and constantly barking . What should I do as im also planning to get a new yorkie to live with us indoors and he lives outdoors ? WHAT SHOULD I DOO ??

Answer
Any dog living in a kennel all day long except for one hour a day is going to be aggressive. That is cruel and not fair to the dog. If you cannot play with him and keep him in the house with you and treat him like a pet, then you need to find him a home.

Get him neutered if he isn't already and find him a home. There is nothing else you can do. This dog is being ruined by being kenneled constantly.

I am surprised that you would even think of getting another dog when this one is being neglected outside all day long. I am sorry for sounding so harsh but you need to step back and see what you are doing here.

Find this dog a home pronto. He is becoming a liability to you.
