Powerhead

Hows it going. Im wondering if i can put a powerhead into my 24G Nano Tank. Iv got about 8 or 9 kilo of liverock along with several corals including pulsing xenia and leather coral. Also using a Polyfilter with normal sponge media, active carbon and ceramic rings. The guy at my LFS hasnt mentioned powerheads to me before. But i noticed that he had a powerhead in his display Nano Tank. If i were to use one would which would be best to use and would i keep the main pump running with the powerhead?

hi, i also have a 24gal nano, i think you may have the same 1. firstly loose the ceramic rings, they do nothing but harbour nitrates.

i use the powerhead that come with the tank and 2 eheim 300LPH powerheads on either side of the tank. I have them running behind the rocks pointing at each other, so it shears and gives a bit of turbulance to the water.
