water gardening and muddy water

Hi--

I just started a water garden in a 20 gallon plastic container and have planted two harder water lilies in it.  After completing the task, I noticed that the water becomes cloudy with dirt particles floating everywhere.  What should I do to clear this up?

Hey Kevin,
Thanx for your question.  A 20-gallon container isn't very large but the water should settle rather quickly.  Allow the planter to sit idly for a few days and the dirt will settle to the bottom.  If this doesn't work, post a follow-up.  I am here to help.
