pond/waterfall pump/filter

I have a huge leak in my pond. I turned the waterfall pump/filter off - will this stop the float auto fill?

I'm sorry about your leak.  The auto fill will mostly stop running if the leak was in the waterfall.  If it's in the pond itself, it will keep filling as it leaks.
