Is Lucifer sick?

I recently asked you about my two snails and goldfish. I separated them and the snail is doing well. Now I have a new problem, I have an albino armored Cory catfish named Lucifer. He is somewhat translucent and near his under side he has developed a black spot that can be seen from both his left and right sides. I was wondering if you might know what it is and if it dangerous to my Lucifer's health. Thank you.

Hi Taylor:  its hard to say... it may just be a new growth of pigmentation... or something else... the fact that it is black is not a concern to me... does it look like it is internal or on his skin??? just out of curiosity... why would you name a translucent catfish Lucifer???  that spot could be karma... hmmmmm  anyway... let me know what you think... dave
