Question
I have a gold fish with some kind of white stuff on one eye,it eats ok and swims ok,it spends alot of time on the bottom.Have any idea what it could be?Also during the summer my apt gets hot and the water gets warm, could this harm my gold fish, have any ideas about this. Thank you.

Answer
Hi There,

This sounds like fungus. Usually caused by poor water quality.
I recommend adding some methylene blue available from your local fish shop.
In the summer months, i recommend adding an airstone to help provide more oxygen as warmer water has less oxygen.

Hope this helps,
Chloe :)
