sick fish with unusual problem

QUESTION: My fish has had a small opening above her rectum the past couple of months. I treated it with Melafix and thought it was improving, but when I checked it the other day, it had ripped open and formed a mass. I also noticed today she has some type of small disfiguration on her side. Any idea what it might be? She had babies back in January, but I'm not sure if it's related. She is eating with her normal enthusiasm and is as active as always. (The pictures aren't the best so just to clarify, she is stooling in a few pictures.)

ANSWER: Hi Kelli:  Is your fish Pooping???  Sometimes after molly's give birth they expell part of their birthing cannel... that is what it looks like to me.  If she is not pooping though I would consider treating her with internal parasite medication... let me know... dave

Hi Kelli:  It is hard to say with Mollies.  The balloon molly's especially... they have a lot of pressure internally... so it may be a combination of giving birth and her balloon belly.  I will try to do some research tomorrow when im at work and see if I can find out anything that is definite.  dave
