is my fish dyeing?

i have two gold fish which i have kept for about a month now, they seemed fine at first they would swim around the tank, they now hide in the tank have dulled in colour with a sort of white coat, they either sit on the bottom not moving for float to the top im really worried, please get back to be as soon as possible as im really concerned there dying. thankyou zoe

What size is your aquarium?
What kind of filter do you use?
What is the filter's make/model#?
How much do you feed your fish?
Are there any external signs of infection?
How often are you doing water changes?
