Questionok so i am having trouble changing the water im my one week old betta fish that i just got......
i had one the week before and it died almost immediately after i changed the 20% of water like you always reccomend....the guy at the store suggested that i use regular drinking water that is stored at room temperature.....am i doing something wrong....
and one more thing....my fish is not active at all and doesnt like to move very much and just hides all the time, i would love to see more of my betta ....and suggestions?

Hmmm... regular drinking water stored at room temp should be just fine... that's what I use in all my tanks.
Is the water in the tank cold? As air temperatures cool, so do people's houses and so does a tank of water if it isn't heated. Bettas don't like the temp below about 75 and basically they will really slow down if the temperature gets cold.
