Is my fish pregnant?

I have a cichlid fish who has not been eating for about two days now. It sits at the bottom of the tank in the corner. It barely moves and its stomach looks swollen. Is my fish pregnant or is it sick? I don't know if this type of fish gets pregnant or lays eggs.

Hi Raquel,
 All cichlids lay eggs so unfortunately, your fish is more likely to be sick given the symptoms.  

 Have you been doing regular weekly partial water changes?  I recommend 25% once a week, every week to keep your fish happy and healthy.
