fir on my black mollies

We had two Mollies one died after giving birth and the other acts as if it wants to die it has fir on the top should we take it out of the tank?

Monique,                                                     It sounds like it has a fungus. It can be brought on by stress. You should put some maracyn in the tank...or erythromycin...take carbon out for seven days then a 25% water change. It won't hurt the babies. I am so sorry you lost your baby.
