My pet fish

So I bought 5 goldfish and they lasted about 2 weeks but they slowly kept dieing how can I prevent that and make them live longer.....my boyfriend put them in an aquarium and it has a filter and a light and everything.....

Hi Jasmine,
 I strongly recommend against keeping goldfish. They are actually rather tricky to keep, and easily get and spread diseases. There are many, many other fish that are much easier to keep.
