Dear Eugene,
            Is your Betta blowing a bubble nest? They say when your Betta is ready he will blow a bubble nest. If not, thats okay. You add a Female to the tank. They will fight. When you add your Female then he will definately blow a nest now. Once he does this the nest will get fertizized. Once the nest gets fertilized you must IMMEDIATELY  remove the Female & put her in a "Hospital Tank" she will be wounded. Once the Female is removed the Male will care for the Fry, thats what they call baby Fish. Once they are hatched you must remove every baby & put them in their own tank. Only one to a tank. Your gonna need A LOT  of tank's. Only one Betta to a tank. Unless you have a divider in the tank. Thats how you mate Betta's.
