angelfish virus

Question
If angelfish virus has been in a tank and the last angelfish has died; how long before you can put virus free angelfish in that tank if ever?  Thank you

Hi Laura,
 Unfortunately I do not know the answer to that.  In any tank where I have had a serious illness, I always take down the tank and bleach it. Bleach kills most things. You have to be very careful with bleach -- it will ruin clothes, furniture, etc. and you need to rinse out the tank many times before putting water back in it.  I always do this outside, i.e., not in the living room.
