Supplements for grazing horses

Question
I will be working on a horse boarding ranch in Southern Arizona.  90 acres of irrigated pasture.  I'd like to know what supplements these horses need while on bermuda grass/summer or winter mix/winter pasture?

Answer
Dear Terri,

ADM make a good mineral block and or crumble for horses at pasture

and otherwise there is a AZ formulated supplement that I have seen used for horses fed bermuda hay in AZ and I don't see why it wouldn't work for pasture as well.  It might not be so easy to feed pastured horses though but would work if they get anything else in a bucket.

here are some notes by the person who puts this mix together they are based on very sound principles.

Hope this helps.
