wet dates to all horse and pony breeds

hello ma'am, can i feed wet dates to all horse and pony breeds irrespective of any discipline? what all does dates contain?

Thank you for your question.  Although I have never known of anyone to feed dates to horses, I realize that it is an ancient custom in some countries.  I don't know that there is any danger in doing so, as long as the pits have been removed.
