??Colt 2 Gelding??

i work at an arabian stud part-time, as i am very interested in horses, there is a beutiful arab foal"orlando" 7 1/2 months old, he is a colt- he will grorw to bea stallion obviously, but how would he become a gelding because i don't want a stallion!!!

This is not a typical training question....more of an educational one.

This is a tricky question, as I cannot really tell from your wording, what your age is and what would be an appropriate answer.

If you are under 18 years of age, go ask your mother.

If you are over 18 years of age, ask the barn manager or call the vet and have them explain the operation to you.

No need to be embarrassed.  One can never find things out if one never asks.  It is a good question that deserves a good answer.

Good luck and remember to always wear an ASTM/SEI approved helmet!
