saddle pad next best than wintec

hello ma'am, why wintec saddle pads are comfortable and good for horses, here they are not available in india? can you suggest me another comfortable pad?

You are looking for a pad which has a particular quality. When you put your thumb and forefinger around the pad and pinch, you should not be able to feel your fingers meet.


A felt pad might be as good option. Even western-type square pads sometimes help.

Sometimes you do not want to just put more material between the ill fitting saddle and the horse. It just results in more psi (pounds per square inch), and does not help the problem.

I will try to research exactly what material goes into a wintec pad.

There are also gel pads which are not bad. They actually have a gel-like substance in the middle of the pad.

You should get educated in tack, find a supllier, and sell tack!
