How to keep my mare in her pasture. if the other horse leaves she jumps the fence.

Hi Janeen,
            I know what you are going through, as I have three horses doing that now. You have a few choices. If your fence is electric, then you can make it higher and use a stronger fencer. If you have a solid fence, then add a strand or two of hot wire. You can also build a double fence of hot wire. You would have your main fnce and about 2-3 feet away you would have another one. It does sound as though you have a jumper on your hands. Which depending on what you want to do with her could  be good.
