How to finish breaking my horse

Question
Hi, over the previous summer I started to work with my horse, and even started riding her. I did groundwork with her and she did wonderful, my horse and I have a close bond too. She is a registered four year old Palomino. Recently I have been riding her, and she has started to rear up, and buck, toss her head, and be very stubborn. I don`t know what to do, I give her slack on the reins, and I am using the same tack, I did when I first started riding her. I would appreciate some advice because I don`t know what to do.

Answer
Hello Savannah,
I am sorry to hear things have gotten tricky for you and your horse. I would try working on your ground work again and seeing how well you can go from a walk to a trot to a canter and back down again. Rearing and bucking is sometimes a lack of ''go'' so if you make sure it is working for you on the ground it should work in the saddle. I wish I could get more exact but it takes years to learn all you need to do to start colts so there is no way I can put it in an e-mail. Just make sure she is having fun and you should be ok.
Let me know how it goes,
